10th Asia-Pacific Bonsai And Suiseki Convention & Exhibition opened in Taiwan on October 31th, 2009. A delegation of hundreds of bonsai enthusiasts from Chinese mainland travelled to Taiwan for the distinguished meeting. Moreover, the delegation travelled around for bonsai investigation and collecting. The local bonsai lovers warmly and friendly received the delegation.
It’s commonly believed by the delegates that Taiwan bonsai is a characterized school which is worth learning and borrowing. Delegation members are also convinced experiences of this convention will make (WBFF) World Bonsai Convention 2013 better. Taiwan’s bonsai is so amazing that two delegates purchased a piece at cost of 2,500,000 RMB, respectively.
This journey to Taiwan, which was fruitful and impressive, has been a important part in bonsai history of both sides of Taiwan Strait.
